June 25-27, 2018
Kansas has a long history of leadership in food production and agriculture, from its top ranking in beef and wheat production, to a broad variety of value-added manufacturing of snack foods, baked goods, specialized ingredients, and prepared foods. Leading companies, both large and small, have established operations in Kansas to take advantage of our central location, food processing expertise, agricultural industry, research resources, and strong business support infrastructure.
Tour will provide the opportunity to learn about unique industry partnership resources such as Kansas State University's International Grains Program, Food Innovation Accelerator, and Consumer Research Center, as well as the new National Bio and Agro-defense Facility.
Companies with U.S. expansion interests involved in manufacturing, distribution or research related to food & beverage, agricultural products & equipment, and animal health should plan to participate in this event.
