Governor Laura Kelly has established the Hospitality Industry Relief Emergency Fund to assist hospitality businesses seeking emergency loans in response to the economic impacts of COVID-19.
The loan program, administered by the Kansas Department of Commerce and NetWork Kansas, offers loans up to $20,000 at 0% interest for a term of three years.
We regret to announce that all our initial funds available through the HIRE Fund have been allocated at this time. However, we are keeping our form open and will continue to collect information from Kansas hospitality businesses on the losses they are facing due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Data collected is used for internal purposes only.
If the business is approved for funding, annual progress reports will be required by NetWork Kansas. The purpose of the annual reports is to track company revenues, number of full and part-time employees and details that reflect the progress the company is making since funds were awarded. The company’s specific information is kept confidential.
The applying business must agree to sign a Marketing Release at closing and must agree to sign a Personal Guaranty at closing.
