Kids <\/em>\u2014 a magazine created specifically for Kansas students in fourth through sixth grade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Designed to spark curiosity and encourage young Kansans to see their state in new ways, <em>KANSAS! Kids<\/em> brings learning to life through engaging stories, vivid photography and kid-friendly exploration of Kansas history, geography, people and places.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cInspiring passion and love for Kansas starts at a young age \u2013 it certainly did for me, and that love has lasted all my life. It matters that we educate and show young Kansans all the amazing opportunities and experiences that are available to them right here at home,\u201d <strong>El Vicegobernador y Secretario de Comercio, David Toland, declar\u00f3<\/strong>. \" El <em>KANSAS! Kids<\/em> magazine displays what life in the Sunflower State looks like \u2014 and supports our goal of having more young people choose to <em>keep<\/em> Kansas their home as they grow and pursue their dreams.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the newest edition, students will learn about the trailblazing spirit of Amelia Earhart, take a behind-the-scenes look at the daily life on McCarty\u2019s Dairy Farm \u2014 and get weird and wacky with Kansas\u2019 larger-than-life roadside attractions. Readers will also explore the state\u2019s richly diverse geography \u2014 from prairies and plains to rivers, hills and hidden wonders \u2014 and many other stories that make Kansas so unique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cKansas has incredible stories, and young Kansans deserve to see themselves reflected in those stories,\u201d <strong>La Directora de Turismo de Kansas, Bridgette Jobe, declar\u00f3<\/strong>. \u201cThe magazine is designed to plant seeds of curiosity about Kansas land, history and significant figures who also call this state home.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As with the first edition, all fourth- through sixth-grade students across Kansas \u2014 along with subscribers to the magazine \u2014 will receive a complimentary copy of the second edition of <em>KANSAS! Kids<\/em> magazine. The release is timed to support classroom learning and statewide celebrations for Kansas Day on January 29.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Additional copies of <em>KANSAS!
