Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) & Digital Equity Act (DEA) Planning Updates

Kansas Office of Broadband Development is committed to sharing our work and process as we create the five year plans to support the requirements of Broadband Equity Access and Deployment and Digital Equity Act. These programs were created as part of the bi-partisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act. Historic amounts of funding will come to Kansans to help bridge the digital divide. Outreach and Engagement

The Roadshow sessions are for the citizens of Kansas to express their broadband needs, share their concerns, and discuss what training, device, or affordability challenges they may be experiencing. We have scheduled closed sessions for providers to discuss our BEAD and Digital Equity Plans and to share the key roles providers will play.
