This Application is Based on the Technology:

Applicant/Investigator Data

An applicant that requests Proof of Concept funding for a project that is a non-university State of Kansas employee, elected official, or is in a partnership or collaboration with an elected official on this project must disclose said employment, election appointment, partnership, or collaboration within their Proof of Concept funding application. Those projects will be reviewed utilizing a “blind” process, where the names of the State of Kansas employee applicant or elected official will be redacted and will remain unknown throughout the review and selection process. Under a blind review, a project will be judged solely on the application and documents that were submitted, and the applicant will not be given an opportunity to pitch to the review committee in person. Despite this exception, the review committee may submit written questions regarding the project to the applicant and the applicant will be given the opportunity to respond in writing.
