Kelley Hunt is an acclaimed touring recording artist, singer songwriter, keyboardist, guitarist who, in the course of a long, established career, has appeared all over the world in venues ranging from clubs to some of the most notable and competitive festival stages. She tours in multiple formats – from solo singer songwriter format to up to a 9pc version of her touring band. In her career she has sold hundreds of thousands of indie units and downloads, released 6 full-length critically acclaimed albums, several singles and appeared in album collaborations with other notable artists. Among other awards and recognition, she is a recipient of the Kansas Governor’s Arts Award. She is known as a premier singer and keyboardist who organically combines the influences of many roots music forms – blues, soul, gospel, folk and Americana – into her own unique artistic identity. Her music is uplifting and thick with emotional and social substance. Her live performances are known for their energy and high technical performance standards; she appears on every stage with accomplished touring professional instrumentalists and singersdren how to make mosaics from broken tile and dishes since the 1970s.”

Public Performance/Exhibition Information

Concert music performances in multiple formats – solo singer songwriter format up to 3, 4, 5, 7 and 9pc versions of her touring band. Performance length can range from :60 to :90 depending on the event and can comprise multiple sets. All performances feature her catalog of original music and, at times, a few unique arrangements of other music she adds to the mix. All of Kelley’s performances and appearances are professionally supported with a full suite of promotional assets, custom promotional materials when requested and social media support.

Program Fee

Solo singer songwriter – $1500 + 1 room, dinner meal for 2, transportation costs Trio specialty performance – $2500 + 4 rooms, dinner meals for 5, transportation costs 4pc ensemble – $3000 + 5 rooms, dinner meals for 6, transportation costs 5pc ensemble – $4,000 + 6 rooms, dinner meals for 7, transportation costs 7pc ensemble – $6,000 + 7 rooms, dinner meals for 9, transportation costs 9pc ensemble – $7,500 + 8 rooms, dinner meals for 11, transportation costs * transportation costs assume mileage within KS ** all formats assume presenter provides production requirements at their cost scaled to the size, venue and nature of the performance in accordance with artist’s production rider and per advance with artist’s production manager or representative.

Educational Activity Information

Kelley Hunt is a skilled and accomplished workshops and master class presenter having provided programs that range from interactive sessions for elementary school students to high schools, junior colleges, and universities on up to the Berklee College of Music in Boston. For 16 years she as co-hosted the Brave Voice Writing and Singing For Your Life retreat and Workshops with acclaimed novelist and former Kansas Poet Laureate Caryn Mirriam-Goldberg which annually attracts participants from all over the US and parts of Canada. Workshops programs can include songwriting, piano performance, vocal performance, and a specialty working with choral groups of all sizes and levels. In an academic setting she consults with the relevant instructor or professor to customize her program to the objectives and curriculum of each class and setting as much as possible.

Additional Activity Fee

1 day workshop or master class – up to two sessions $750, 1 room as needed and meals for 2. 2 day residency – up to 4 sessions – $1200, 1 room/2 days, meals two days for 2. *presenter provides any required production. **longer residency fees determined by length and specifs of the residency. ***if workshop or master class occurs in conjunction with a live concert performance on the show day, artist prefers a single workshop session

Community Activity Information

Community songwriting workshop – engaging community members of all ages in a songwriting workshop session. Community singing workshop – engaging community members of all ages in a singing workshop session. Seminar session for young women on songwriting and the music business, being a music director and band leader, developing skills according to professional expectations.
