Trade Adjustment Assistance - The Trade Adjustment Assistance Program (TAA) is a federally funded program that helps workers who have lost their jobs as a result of foreign trade. It also helps companies transition laid-off workers to new employment. Worker Adjustment & Retraining Notification - The Worker Adjustment & Retraining Notification Act (WARN) is a federal law which requires employers to provide advanced notification to workers when faced with a plant closing or mass layoff.
