BEAD: Benefit of the Bargain

Historic funding was allocated to Kansas through the Infrastructure and Investments and Jobs Act to support broadband access and connectivity – this program expands on Kansas Office of Broadband Development’s efforts to combat the digital divide in our unserved and underserved communities. Kansas Office of Broadband Development’s Draft Final Proposal were open for public comment until 5p.m. CST on September 2, 2025. The list of attachments can be found in the Final Proposal Draft and linked below. All comments expressing concern collected during the public comment period may be subject to public disclosure. Please be aware that preliminary selections are not considered final until the State’s Final Proposal is approved by NTIA.
