について

The Jopará Ensemble performs music from Paraguay blended with harmonies and rhythms from around the world. The word “jopará” is the colloquial language we use in Paraguay, a perfect blend between Spanish and Guarani. This idea of blend, or Jopará, is what the ensemble portrays through their music, combining traditional with more contemporary elements to create a unique sound. The Jopará Ensemble has been together for 2.5 years and have performed in a variety of events throughout the country: LG Desk Concert Series at the Kansas Capitol (September 2025)
Peabody Township Library (September 2025)
Kansas Federation of Music Clubs in Lindsborg, KS (May 2025)
Kansas Music Educators Association Convention in Wichita, KS (February 2025)
KPR Live Day in Lawrence, KS (October 2024)
KMTA/MMTA Conference in Kansas City (September 2024)
Sounds of Summer Concert Series at Pittsburg State University (June 2024)
