New Round of HEAL Funding to Assist 15 Rural Communities Over $1.3 million in Historic Economic Asset Lifeline (HEAL) grant funding will support 15 building renovation projects across the state. Kansas is making big plays.

Governor Laura Kelly and Kansas City Chiefs Chairman and CEO Clark Hunt announced an agreement to build a state-of-the-art domed football stadium and premier mixed-use entertainment destination in Kansas City, Kansas, and new headquarters and practice facility in Olathe.


The project will bring more than 20,000 jobs to our state during the construction phase – with no new taxes. The overall project is expected to generate more than 3,500 jobs and more than $1 billion in economic impact annually.
