The Wichita Symphony Orchestra (WSO) is a leading performing arts organization in Kansas known for artistic excellence, professionalism, and creative programming. Founded in 1944, the Symphony presents a full concert season of classical, pops, and educational performances while offering smaller ensembles that tour and perform across the state.
Through its chamber groups, the Wichita Symphony brings exceptional musicianship to communities of all sizes, presenting performances that range from intimate recitals to vibrant outdoor concerts. These ensembles are ideal for community presenters, schools, libraries, and special events seeking world-class music delivered with warmth, accessibility, and engagement.
