Individual Grants – Arts Council Grants

Arts Council Grants support Greater Wichita–based artists whose projects contribute artistic, educational, and cultural value to the Wichita region. We prioritize work that reflects our community, invites public engagement, and strengthens regional access to the arts.

Grants of up to $1,000 are available to help bring creative projects to life. Funding may be used for materials and supplies, production or exhibition costs, costuming, installation and strike, and other direct expenses related to creating or presenting visualor performance art. Living expenses and personal transportation costs for artists are also eligible.

Musicians performing with guitar, accordion and string quartet instruments.

Application Due Dates

Individual Grant applications are reviewed on a quarterly basis. To be considered in a given review cycle, complete applications by March 2, April 30, July 31st, and October 31.

Applications received by the deadline will be reviewed by a panel of arts experts and awarded at the following monthly meeting. Submissions received after the deadline will automatically be considered in the next review cycle.

All 2026 Artist Grant funding has been awarded. Applications will reopen in 2027.
