Botanica 40th Anniversary Exhibition

Botanica seeks artists and artist-led collectives to create site-responsive outdoor public art for its 40th Anniversary Exhibition. Proposed installations should connect with the gardens’ landscape, ecology, history, or community.

The all-inclusive project budget is $7,500–$20,000 per artist or collective.

Eligible applicants must be 18 or older and live or work in Kansas, have been born or raised in Kansas, or have an artistic practice with a substantial Kansas connection. Artist teams qualify when their lead artist meets these requirements.

Proposals must include a letter of interest and preliminary concept, up to 10 work samples, an itemized preliminary budget, an artist statement, and a CV or résumé.
