2026 Deadlines
  • 2026 KAITC Qualified Business Applications may be submitted online starting October 1, 2025 and will not be accepted after September 30, 2026 for Calendar year 2026. 
  • Angel Investor Registration opens January 1, 2026, and closes November 30, 2026. Don’t miss your opportunity to make an impact!
Investment Timing

Timing of your investment is key! Investments made to a qualified Kansas business prior to written approval of award of tax credits by KDC will not be eligible for tax credits.

Investment Organizations

Una sociedad de responsabilidad limitada o cualquier otra entidad inversora autorizada debe presentar documentación que demuestre que se ha constituido y funciona con el fin de único propósito de realizar inversiones en otras entidades según K.S.A. 74-8132(g) 

Passthrough Investments

Investment through multiple permitted entities (e.g. LLC-1 to LLC-2 to Qualified Kansas business or Trust to LLC to Qualified Kansas Business) will not be allowed. 

Accredited Investors

Todos los propietarios del capital o Benefactores de la entidad inversora autorizada deben ser inversores individuales acreditados. 

Kansas Headquarters

La empresa cualificada de Kansas debe mantener su sede y operaciones cualificadas en Kansas durante un periodo mínimo de cinco (5) años, a menos que se trate de una empresa de biociencia, en cuyo caso, diez (10) años, tal y como exige KSA 74-8136(g), y debe firmarse un acuerdo entre la empresa cualificada de Kansas y KDC antes de la emisión de los créditos fiscales. 

Fees

Solicitud y registro Tasas autorizadas por K.S.A 74-8133(f) y no reembolsables

  • $250 Tasa de solicitud de empresa cualificada (empresas que solicitan la designación de empresa cualificada de Kansas) 
  • $150 Tasa de registro de inversores y cesionarios de créditos (inversores o cesionarios de inversores que solicitan la emisión de certificados de crédito fiscal de Kansas) 
  • $50 Tasa de reposición del certificado de crédito fiscal perdido  
  • Las cuotas del programa KAITC se pagan en línea en el momento de la Solicitud o Inscripción. Todas las cuotas no son reembolsables.
  • *Se aplicará una comisión de servicio de 2,5% a los pagos en línea con tarjeta de crédito y débito (2,5% del cargo total). 
    **Se aplicará una comisión de servicio de $1,50 a los pagos ACH. 

Note: Application review and tax credit certificate issuance requests will not be processed until the associated fees are received by KDC
