Faith Technologies and Excellerate Manufacturing Expand Kansas Operations

Olathe, Kan – Faith Technologies, an energy expert and national leader in electrical planning, engineering, design and installation, will expand its operations to Olathe, Kansas, including its manufacturing division, Excellerate, and Faith Technologies University. The company purchased the 450,000-square-foot building formerly occupied by PacSun, located at 21800 West 167th St. Block Real Estate Services, LLC represented the seller, an investment group, in the sale.

“For us, this move is about growth. The expanded facilities provide the opportunity to increase our manufacturing capabilities as well as recruit and train more team members,” said Mike Jansen, President and CEO of Faith Technologies. “We have had a tremendous experience working with the State of Kansas and appreciate all the time and resources they’ve dedicated to growing jobs and businesses here in the region.”

“We’re thrilled that an outstanding company like Faith Technologies has decided to expand here in Olathe,” Olathe Mayor Michael Copeland said. “Their relocation and expansion is huge for the job growth in our community and we are so very happy they feel so good about our labor force.”

Faith worked with the State of Kansas to develop an incentive package centered on bringing more jobs to the region. The new facility is expected to add more than 780 positions over the next few years.

“This is exciting news for Faith Technologies and it’s exciting news for the state of Kansas,” Secretary of the Kansas Department of Commerce David Toland said. “This is a major expansion which promises to bring hundreds of new jobs to Olathe. It serves as a great example of the strength of manufacturing in Kansas. This is the growth and innovation we love to see.”

The new Olathe facility, located on a 70-acre plot, will feature a 420,000-square-foot manufacturing warehouse dedicated to construction and electrical innovations, offices and space for future growth. The warehouse will be updated with a temperature- and

humidity-control system, specialty systems and building automation. Faith Technologies will self-perform the facility updates and utilize construction manufacturing solutions provided by Excellerate.

“This is a huge win for our community. Faith Technologies is a well-respected, nationally known company that could have chosen anywhere in the country, but selected Olathe,” Tim McKee, Olathe Chamber of Commerce CEO, said. “We’re extremely excited about their decision to relocate to Olathe, but even more excited about the next phase that will see them add several hundred jobs to our community.”

Faith Technologies has locations throughout the U.S. as well as five manufacturing facilities and four Faith Technologies University training facilities.
