Creating communities where residents and businesses can succeed.
The Kansas Department of Commerce established the Quality Places Division (QPD) in 2024 as part of a major organizational re-alignment. The division focuses on strengthening community assets through placemaking, broadband expansion, revitalization efforts, and other local development initiatives.
