Great Plains Manufacturing, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Japanese affiliate Kubota North America Corporation, announced their upcoming purchase of a 750,000 sq. ft. building to further invest in their Salina, Kansas, operations in support of growing demand for Kubota construction equipment. The company will launch operations in the new facility by the end of 2021 in a phased approach, beginning with Kubota’s compact track loaders, the SVL65. With a capital investment of $43 million, project will create 130 new jobs and the facility has potential for continuous growth opportunities.
