The Kansas Department of Commerce Announces Plans for 2018 Energy Conference

TOPEKA – The Kansas Department of Commerce will be hosting the 2018 Kansas Governor’s Energy Conference on October 11th through the 12th at the Hilton Garden Inn in Manhattan, Kansas.

This event will be a gathering of the top minds in the Kansas energy industries, including Natural Gas, Wind, and Solar. Discussions and panels will be held discussing transportation innovations, energy storage solutions, biofuels, and more.
The general session will feature comments from Tim Unruh, Deputy Assistant Secretary for Renewable Power for the Office of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy, US Department of Energy.

“The energy industry in Kansas has been one of the most consistently successful industries in the state,” said Robert North, Interim Secretary of the Kansas Department of Commerce. “This conference brings together the great minds of Kansas energy companies to explore ways to expand their industry and bring new energy solutions to our state.”
