The TransAm Trucking and Freightliner Preventative Maintenance Inspection Technician graduation will take place on March 7, 2019, at Kansas City Kansas Community College at 5:30pm.

The Kansas Department of Commerce has assisted several trucking companies in the Kansas City area to train Preventative Maintenance Inspection Technicians. The assistance has been in the form of four 8-week training programs provided by Kansas City Kansas Community College.

Trucking companies that have participated in these are:

The cost of training is split evenly between the trucking companies and the Department of Commerce through the Workforce AID program.
