Governor Kelly Announces Kansas Moving Forward with $451.7M High-Speed Internet Deployment Plan Governor Laura Kelly today announced federal approval of the state’s Broadband Equity Access and Deployment (BEAD) Initial Proposal Volume 2, providing an investment of more than $450 million to expand Kansas’ high-speed internet infrastructure. Supporting your return to work

Ticket to Work is a federal program that connects you with free employment services to help you decide if working is right for you, prepare for work, find a job or maintain success while you are working. If you choose to participate, you will receive services such as career counseling, vocational rehabilitation and job placement and training. The federal program allows you to work again without risking your cash or medical benefits.

is an approved Employment Network by the Social Security Administration to accept your “Ticket to Work.”

Who Can Qualify?

Kansans ages 18-64 who currently receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) and/or Supplemental Security Income (SSI benefits) because of a disability.
