KAC Strategic Planning Initiative 2022

Resources aimed at the support and promotion of creative and cultural sectors across Kansas

KAC engaged communities throughout Kansas in the creation of a strategic plan focused on developing creative and cultural resources as an essential catalyst for innovation and community revitalization.

To best develop and deploy resources for public good and social impact, a successful plan will:

  • Re-imagine the place culture holds in Kansas communities;
  • Expand the role the arts play in achieving local priorities;
  • build and support statewide infrastructure for the creative arts sector (of which KAC is one facet);
  • outline broad, high-impact strategies that Kansans see as necessary for individuals and communities to thrive; and
  • point to the contributions that art, culture, design, and heritage make towards equitable economic prosperity and community development.

Thought Exchange

Ahead of the session, you can contribute to a brief virtual idea exchange about what is important in arts and culture across Kansas. Your responses and ratings are completely anonymous and you will see real-time results as they come in.

Operational Feedback

You can provide feedback on KAC programs and services. Your responses and ratings are completely anonymous and will help improve KAC functions and processes.
