About

Carr, Kerr & Co. projects embody a love for what is possible in small towns. Taylor Carr is a MHK creative and life-long Kansan. Chances are you have a sticker she designed on your water bottle! Jess Kerr is MHK transplant with midwestern roots. Part community organizer, part mural mom- while she cannot convince Taylor to enjoy running, she created a mutually agreeable spreadsheet situation for the duo.

Carr and Kerr are drawn to public art through their dedication to community building and creative place making. The two started painting murals during the Covid-19 pandemic. What started with a simple text to a friend initiating a driveway wth!?*#? happy hour, turned into a return to place, kinship, and most importantly, the pursuit of “dumb things”!
