New Round of SEED Grants Available for Rural Quality-of-Life Initiatives Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland announced today that $250,000 will be available through a third round of Strategic Economic Expansion and Development (SEED) grants. The SEED program supports economic development and revitalization efforts in smaller counties across Kansas through investments in quality-of-life initiatives. Kansas Tourism Hits the Road with New Mobile Visitors Center At the Kansas State Fair today, Kansas Tourism unveiled its newest tool for inspiring visitation to the state – the Kansas Tourism Mobile Visitors Center (MVC). This eye-catching van, wrapped in a stunning Kansas sunset design, will travel to large attendance events both in and outside of Kansas, providing information about the Sunflower State and encouraging people to visit. Governor Kelly Announces Second Round of Funding to Improve Digital Skills for Kansans Governor Laura Kelly announced today that applications are open for the second round of the Digital Opportunities to Connect Kansans (DOCK) program. A total of $1.95 million in funds will be available to enhance the digital skills of Kansans.
