At Creekstone Farms®, excellence is a hallmark from field to fork. Arkansas City-based Creekstone Farms® produces premium beef and pork that’s sought after by consumers across the globe, with Angus beef and Heritage Duroc pork enthusiasts worldwide finding much to love in the company’s outstanding products.

Creekstone Farms® supplies high-quality meats to customers across the United States, plus about 70 countries around the world. Over the past five years, the company has expanded with a new distribution center, allowing for consistent staffing and improved customer experience and helping Creekstone live up to its promise of reliability, quality and consistency.

As the largest employer in Arkansas City, Kan., Creekstone Farms® also is deeply committed to fostering a strong connection with the community it calls home. The company consistently invests in the local infrastructure, its dedicated workforce and the local community itself.

“We see the value in growing together with this community,” Jackie Lopez, director of marketing at Creekstone Farms®, said. “That’s why we continue to invest in enhancing the quality of life for our employees, such as the recent addition of the 20,000-square-foot learning center adjacent to our headquarters.”

As part of its ongoing mission to enhance the well-being of its employees and become the preferred employer, Creekstone Farms® recently opened the Walnut Valley Learning Center — a childcare facility capable of accommodating more than 100 children of team members. The initiative not only benefits valued employees but also addresses a critical childcare shortage in the county.

Creekstone Farms® also has raised wages by 33 percent, introduced new employee welfare areas, expanded on-site hot food service options, and established a new training facility.

“We are proud to be a part of this community and we are proud of the work that we do,” Lopez said. “Our achievements wouldn’t be possible without our dedicated workforce and the support of this remarkable community.”

The company’s far-reaching excellence was recognized in 2020 when it received the coveted Governor’s Exporter of the Year Award from Governor Laura Kelly. For more than 30 years, the state of Kansas has recognized exceptional export performance by presenting the award to one worthy company selected by the Kansas Department of Commerce in conjunction with the Kansas International Trade Coordinating Council (KITCC). In receiving the top export business award presented by the state, Creekstone Farms officials expressed thanks and pride in representing the best of what Kansas agriculture has to offer.

A few years later, Creekstone Farms® carved out another high-profile honor at the 2023 World Steak Challenge in London: North America’s Best Steak for its wet-aged ribeye steak, marking a first-time win for a U.S. producer in the World Steak Challenge.

“Creekstone Farms is an impressive Kansas company whose beef can be found in nearly every corner of the world,” Governor Kelly said during an earlier visit to the company. “I am confident that the Creekstone brand will continue to grow — both at home and abroad — thanks to the company’s outstanding leadership, savvy approach to global trade, superior products and hardworking team.”
