Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland today announced that more than $8.7 million in Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funds has been awarded to support 16 vital projects across Kansas. These investments will continue to enhance the quality of life and infrastructure in rural and low-to moderate-income communities.
“CDBG funding has proven to be one of the most effective ways for Commerce to support meaningful projects that address specific needs in communities throughout Kansas,” Lieutenant Governor and Secretary of Commerce David Toland said. “These grants give local organizations the resources needed to create tailored solutions that improve infrastructure, quality of place and more, resulting in stronger local economies and more vibrant towns across the Sunflower State.”
