Special Enrollment Period Opens for Kansas Community Empowerment Program

The Kansas Community Empowerment (KCE) Special Enrollment Period is now officially open, offering communities across the state an opportunity to enroll in the program for the 2026–2027 cycle. The updated enrollment process reflects extensive input gathered during the recent KCE Listening Tour and Public Comment Period. Community members’ feedback played a direct role in shaping the finalized process.

Communities interested in participating in KCE for the 2026–2027 program year may now submit their enrollment forms. The deadline to enroll is December 31, 2025.

Enrollment materials, including the official guidelines and the 2026–27 form, are available online. Communities enrolling during this Special Enrollment Period will be fully registered for the 2026–2027 year and will not need to reapply until summer 2027 unless updating their tier selection. Those that do not enroll during this window must wait until July 1, 2026.
