Legislative ARPA Funding for Higher Education – Through 2022 House Bill 2510 and Senate Bill 267, the Department of Commerce was allocated $233 million for higher education institutions in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) State Fiscal Recovery Funds (SFRF). These funds were initially allocated through the Office of the Governor, which designated KDC as the administrating agency. KDC has worked in collaboration with the Office of Recovery to ensure that these awards are made in such a way that complies with federal requirements and applicable guidance.
