Obras nuevas y ampliadas
The Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission, renamed the Kansas Arts Commission, was established in 2012. Since its inception, it has sought federal grant funding provided by the National Endowment of the Arts to implement various grants programs designed to foster the arts and their impact on employment development within Kansas.
Este programa financia producciones, exposiciones, programas o eventos nuevos o significativamente ampliados de organizaciones artísticas sin ánimo de lucro de Kansas. Los proyectos deben ser o bien un tipo de programa totalmente nuevo para la organización, diseñado para diversificar sus servicios, o bien una ampliación de un programa existente diseñado para mejorar significativamente la calidad de la oferta actual.
Eligible Projects must:
- be a new type of program for the applicant or a significant expansion of an existing program.
- be part of a broader strategy to improve the fiscal health of the organization and increase participation in programs and services.
- involve relevant, strategic partnerships with organizations in the community and/or adjacent communities;
- take place in an accessible facility;
- engage underserved audiences who lack access to the arts due to geography, economic conditions, ethnic background, disability, or age.
